Problem Note 48776: SAS® Workspace Servers that are started through the Common Object Model cannot access SAS® statements that are executed by the INITSTMT= system option

DetailsAboutRate It

A SAS Workspace server that is started through the Common Object Model (COM) cannot access any SAS®: statements that are specified by the INITSTMT= system option. For example, any LIBNAME or FILENAME statements that are created by the INITSTMT= option cannot be accessed by SAS code that is executed in the SAS Workspace server or in any interface calls that are made against that server.

To work around this problem, specify the SAS statements in an autoexec.sas file instead of using the INITSTMT= option.
